In room 7 we've been learning about symmetry so we decided to make a symmetrical piece of art

Escape and evasion

Running, bush,BB guns. Escape and Evasion. The only times anybody aloud to shoot someone,people may bleed and get heart but it’s all about the game.The only protection is the goggles to protect our eyes. Everyone screamed at the start but then the silence began. I dived into the bush hoping i don’t get found about 5 minutes have ticked by. I can see Steve he sees me  bang,bang,bang they all miss. I ran out of the bush, i was to close so he only said bang. I placed my hands on my head and went back to prison…

Kayaking

Water flowing,kayaks drifting and people screaming. Kayaking another exciting activity Josie, lanie, lochie and i all kayaked to the other side it was a 200-300 m kayak, we crossed many sand banks and many times we got stuck or really close. Later on most people were standing up and we’d  push each other kayaks over and we fall in. The first time was quite cold but then once you got used to it was actually warm.

Master Chef

Four groups of six all went head to head in a Junior Master Chef, My group made apple crumble with whipped cream, ice-cream and mint on the side.We all had different things to do, Lochie and i did the pastry, Te Aroha and Paige were on the crumble  and Jacob and Jamie-liegh were on the apples. Once  it was cooked lochie put the whipped cream on. Paige put the ice-cream and i did the mint. We came second overall so we done well.

Tie during for dance night

For dance night we are tie dieing some plain white t-shirts we had a choice of strips or blobs I chose blobs because it looked all muldy

Weaving cups

We made these cups by using some wool and a cup. first we had to draw straight lines down the cup, we cut the lines out by using scissors. Then we got the the wool and tied a knot at the end. We started weaving these by going over then through the gap.and we kept doing that until the cup was fully covered in wool. 

I am poems

I am a rugby player with a talent for kicking.

I wonder if war will ever stop.

I hear my grandparents guiding me through my life.

I want to travel the world to help the  sick.

I pretend I'm earth feeling every shake.

I feel safe around my family.

I worry about how many people actually die every year for no reason.

I touch the world with all my might.

I cry when I lose one of my family members.

I understand that I can't always get what I want.

I say follow your  dreams and it may come true one day.

I dream for peace not war!

I try to achieve my goals.

I hope my life is a successful journey.

acrostic poem Apple crumble

Apples slither down my throat

Perfectly served with a mixture of cream and ice-cream slither down to my stomach

Peeling the apple scoffing one by one

Light dusting of ice-cream covering the apple crumble

Explosions of excitement bounce around in my mouth

crunching the delightful crumble sends delicious feelings to my brain

Rumble goes stomach as i take my first mouthful

Under five mouthfuls is not enough for me

Mouthwatering dessert

Braking down to ever so small pieces

Leaves a sensational after taste

Exciting feeling in my mouth

Grilled Cheese

Mouth-watering cheese drips wildly down into my stomach.The smell of burnt toast guides me to the scrumptious meal.The oozy cheese melts in my mouth like chocolate.The crunchy toast with melted cheese gives a wonderful aftertaste.
